How to Support Independent Authors
"Mystery" is a very diverse genre of fiction. For years, Mira Gibson's mystery novels were categorized as psychological mystery, psychological suspense, and psychological thrillers. This remains the case, and her titles are regarded as "dark."
The cozy mystery genre is the polar opposite. Cozy mysteries offer light-hearted whodunit stories that tend to be witty and upbeat. When Mira wanted to begin writing cozies, she knew that her current fans probably wouldn't buy this subgenre. And so, she decided to start writing as Catherine Gibson.
